OH&S and basic fatigue management
The work we do on a daily basis is governed by Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), and we work to ensure compliance with these laws at all times. Along the whole supply chain of the transport industry, people’s safety is at risk if proper procedures aren’t followed. From loading, to driving, to unloading, we adhere to the highest safety standards at all times.
This includes but isn’t limited to, following fatigue management guidelines for drivers and ensuring all of our equipment and practices meet industry codes of practice. We’ll never risk the health of our team or other Australians, because safety is our number one priority.
NHVR CHAIN OF RESPONSIBILITY
At Wirrinourt Transport we’re trained and accredited to follow the National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s (NHVR) laws and regulations governing the transport industry. The Chain of Responsibility laws have been in place since 2018, and their purpose is to ensure all operators along a supply chain are responsible for compliance with Heavy Vehicle National Law.
These laws are in place to protect everyone, from drivers and transport companies to loaders and unloaders of freight. We take the Chain of Responsibility laws seriously, and we work to remove risk at every step possible. Your safety, our safety and our NHVR accreditation depends on it, and we won’t risk any.
